Christmas Party

The younger half of the mini's took full advantage of their cancelled training on Sunday 20th December & held their Christmas party at lunchtime in the clubhouse with the added bonus of snow! The lucky children got to play in the snow, take part in group sledging with a special "coach propelled launch system" and created a replica of British Heritage with a winter twist - Snowhenge! All parents & children enjoyed a self provided buffet and gave generously to the raffle which raised £70 for the club, all rounded off with a visit from Santa. The coaches would like to thank Mandi, Sheila, Ren & Louise for all their help, the parents for providing all the food & Santa for his yummy selection boxes & sweeties!! Sponsored Walk

On Saturday a large number of the Parents and children from Medways under 6 / 7's, braved the very wet and windy weather to do a 6 mile Sponsored Walk along the river Medway in Teston ( Maidstone.) The walked along the tow paths by anyones standard was testing. But the parents and children alike enjoyed themselves. They even had a chance to paddle!!!

The walk was in aid of raising much needed funds for the childrens wet weather gear and training equipment.

As the manager I want to say how amazed I am by how many of you who took part, and thank you to all of the others who could not make it, but have pledged money to the cause.
