Medway's Extra First players currently feature in the Kent Invicta 2 League. Following a hard earned promotion last season (2010/11) the main aim this has been consolidating our League position whilst integrating promising Development Squad players who have First Team potential. Extra First players are all capable of being selected for First XV action and should expect to be called up when required.
The Extra First's squad features players who have played for the First's previously or are currently on the cusp of selection. Their background is varied and includes members who have been brought through the Club since childhood, as well as promising Development Squad and Spartans players.
With five senior sides at Medway, we will always seek to get Extra First players a game if they want it, and if not in action on a Saturday for the Extras or the Firsts can expect to play for the 'A' Squad or the Holcs.
