WEEK 1 ROUNDS 1 & 2
The opening night for MEDWAY “touch” RUGBY CLUB saw the saw its grand opening on the show pitch. However still hung over from its triumphs Champion of London Harlequins tournament the Medway exiles lost its first game to the Vets 3-2 who went on to claim maximum points with another victory over Old Touchtonians in round 2.
Old Touch. Recovered well after being thumped 9-2 by the Wizards who now sit in pole position after beating the Winos 10-0. After drying out the Winos will be fairly happy with their nights work beating the Meercats 3-2 in round 1.
Cougars got of to a fantastic start with the first game of the night beating Screwloose.com 12-6. After tightening up their defence in round 2 Screwloose got their first points of the night with a 2-2 against Meercats.
16 games 8 teams over 60 points scored in its opening night. A great advert for the sport.
