Medway 20 Hastings & Bexhill 0
Medway Ladies travelled to Hastings for one of the best match's of the season. Although underfoot was very heavy going and boggy .
At start of play within 5 minutes Hastings gave away a penalty after Medway applied instant pressure which gave Smith the opportunity to display her kicking the ball between the posts’s giving Medway their first score of 3 points.
As play restarted Hastings found them self’s unsettled with the pressure Medway put to them, giving another penalty away. Robertson gave a quick tap to Thompson supported by Bent, Evans and Duncan giving Thompson the opportunity to display her unforgettable charge through Hastings and over the try line making Medway lead 8-0
Medway executed some well practiced back moves putting into play communication switches by Ogstan, Harris, and Soroka after being stuck for a short time from pressure by Hastings the ball was fed down the line giving Thorne the opportunity to break through Hastings and over the try line giving Medway a 13-0 lead at half time.
As the whistle started the second half Medway’s game became more solid and pressure continued to be on Hastings. Hill ferreted her way in stealing the ball from a well formed maul passing through to McCormack with Barrie’s support gave Thompson another chance to score but unfortunately this time the whistle blew and ref shouted held up.
Stein stole ball after ball from Hastings line out’s, and from the consistent throw’s from Preston she won every ball given to her, giving the ideal opportunity for the forwards to display the strength and communication walking Medway back over the try line scoring once again with the put down by Preston and conversion by Smith.
Final whistle blew at 20-0

24 January 2010
Medway Ladies travelled to Tonbridge Juddians for one of the best match's of the season.
Although Medway lost the game we executed some well practiced back and forward moves that was put into play.
As the whistle started the game Medway charged down the pitch, but with in the first 7 minutes Tonbridge Judd's scored the first try but failed to convert.
After being stuck for a while in Tonbridge's 22 Medway started to walk them up the pitch with the guidence of Ann and Deb putting pressure on Tonbridge by the pack Gemma, Nattali, Rachel,Tammi and Jaq this was reflected in Tonbridge giving penalty's away that gave Medway the opportunity to score a try but unfortunately Medway's first try of the game was not given as Ami grounded the ball the whistle blew and the ref shouted held up. As we reformed with a scrum Medway scored a well deserved try by Ali and she also gave us the conversion.
Just before half time Tonbridge crashed though Medway's back's making the half time score 10-7.
As the second half started Medway kept the pressure on but just couldn't stop Tonbridge from scoring another try with conversion.
As Medway's team communication started to come together with well drilled quick play down the line with some skilful ball handling putting switches and loops into play by the Larysa, Stacey, Leanne, Jess and Tina Medway scored the second try from Tina's long run down the pitch passing out to Stacey to hand Leanne a well deserved try.
As the final whistle blew the score ended 22-12 but although Medway was disappointed they was not disheartened as the team effort was displayed and put into play by everyone.
